calculate the best mix of promotions and coupons for each
guest. This feature dramatically reduces guest confusion
resulting in fewer arbitrary price adjustments and higher
customer satisfaction.
Using the Discount Administration area (shown at right),
you can set up two types of discounts: coupons and automatic
promotions. In order to be flexible enough to suit your
business, the Discount engine is one of the most complex
sections of GuestVision.
Defining discounts is beneficial to the management of your
salon. If you rely on your stylists or receptionists to
arbitrarily decide how to calculate and apply discounts
you will never have an accurate picture of how effective
your promotions are and may potentially open the door to
internal control issues or fraud.
Coupon and promotion usage is recorded in GuestVision for
easy tracking of your discounts. The promotions and coupons
are broken out in the nightly Dashboard report and a detailed
analysis of discounts over time can be generated in the
Coupon Tracking Report.
