GuestVision uses a
powerful inventory engine to manage stock at every
salon, from receiving to retail to returns. Each
time a product enters or leaves the salon, the
computer changes its recommendation, which the
manager may
|
approve or modify.
These restock requests can be transmitted to the central
office throughout the week, eliminating the need for your
managers to generate a separate purchase order. When it's
time to make a delivery to that salon, the requests are
automatically combined into a packing list and fulfilled
from your central warehouse. Managers at your salon can
focus solely on how to sell their retail products rather
than when and how much to buy.
The Inventory screen (shown at right) is where you track
your salon's inventory. In this area you can view, order,
receive, move and adjust each product item in your inventory.
For easier viewing, the inventory list can be sorted by
product type, line or vendor.
Inventory functions are not limited to the Inventory section.
Inventory works in conjunction with several areas of GuestVision.
Use Product Administration to look up products in your salon
and adjust cost, retail price, lookup codes and barcodes,
and vendor. You can specify a preferred order amount for
each item as well.
